Well i got my 2 penguins today the 350 model and basically im getting aggravated with the top of these things. They never want to stay put, they always fall. Am i doing something wrong here? And my last question is, how do i know if the filter is working? will water pour out of the filter and the bio-wheels be moving?

The lids just do not want to stay put very often...

If the water is going down the ramp and the wheels are turning, the pump is working.

ok cool. well i mean if you barely touch anything on the tank the lid slides off. im thinking on puting a rubber band on it.

Ok another issue, i was looking at the i think intake tube and the part where you put the tube into isnt like into the filter the hooked part of the tube into the filter ? the other one, like its a little more looser.

Just make sure the tubes are fully seated you can do these by removing them and replacing them back into the filter. If they still do not fit correctly try switching them between filters.

well the tube i thought was loose, isnt really moving much i pushed it in pretty hard. so i guess thats good right? And my last question whats the little blue things? they move up and down and im not sure what to do. I want FULL filtration.

I do not have your exact model but I believe they are flow regulators. Double check your instructions, but I think if you pull those up they give more flow.

Well, i got it in. Its much more tighter now. I cant wait, and CAF there is no regulators on the 350. Theres actually these little vents that also filtrate more towards the top of the water, not just towards the bottom. Kinda cool, cant wait to get this tank filled. So, if its quiet, water is coming out and the bio wheels are moving, then both are working properly and full use correct?
