Since I had my camera out, I took a pic of my 2.5 pico. It is 2 months old, no corals yet, just a small yellowtail damsel (which I will trade in for a goby eventually), a margarita snail, and an emerald crab.

Any plans for corals?
What is the lighting like?

Thanks Cocoa!
Dru, I think I would have to upgrade the lighting to do anything but shrooms. All it has is 10watts 50/50 CF.
Part of my thinking in setting this tank up was to see how cheaply I could set up a SW tank, and also to see how difficult it was to run a FOWLR. The way it is now, this tank requires almost no maintenance. All I do a 30% water change every week to keep the nitrates down. I only run the light about 4-5 hours a day to keep the coraline growing, so I have not had any algae problems.
I will probably add some shrooms from my 12g once they start to split, but I really don't want to buy anything else for the tank.

looks good! i see what youre saying about a piece of LR and a damsel being no work. its pretty close to FW. however, with corals, its much more of a challenge
im done with mushrooms. when i had a 33g reef mushrooms took over the whole tank and it got really annoying
