My zooanthids

Ok I came back this yesturday and most of my zoo's are closed. After watching them for a while I realized that they would go half open and then close back up again. For the past 3 weeks they have been opened up fully and looking great. How come all of a sudden they are not acting normal anymore?
My water parameters are as follows:
Temp: 78
PH: 8.0
0 nitrites, nitrates and ammonia
SG: 1.025

ive noticed that with one of my bunches, i was about to ask the same thing. i dont have the MH on my 55g yet but i have 4W/g of fluorescent, and 1 out of the 3 crops of it have been closed for about 5 days.

maybe they can tell the time of year and sence that they need to close up???

i dunno, but its weird. on my batch thats closed maybe one odd one opens half way then closes.

My star polyps seem ok but even the mushrooms I just got yesturday are not fully opening.
On another reef forum I am on a few people suggested that they are being attacked by something from the outside and to maybe give them an iodine dip.....

it must be attacking then since mushrooms are low light.

i dont know whats with mine, theres no attacking or anything, and all my other corals are fine

Hahaha, I just got done reading that. I have a PM out to mucho reef as I am a member of reef central. I am really considering this dipping tomorow.
