well my smaller rtc died , he stopped feeding for a while , i tired multiple treatments (antibiotics , anti parasitic, appetite inducers , anti bacterials &anti fungals ....lots of prayer ) and just when he started back feeding he regurgitated his last meal and i lost him he was 18months old and 30" long i hope he found peace

i tried doing a necropsy here are the pics

also discoloration and evidence of trauma to liver , not sure if attributed to post mortem changes , cause of death or his treatments

all in all i sum up his cause of death to the atrophy of his digestive system due to trauma inflicted by his tankmate (a bigger Rtc)

What size of pond did you have him in?

4-5000 gal (bout 12ft by 12ft by 4ft deep) , water quality , space and diet was not an issue for sure , i'm certain his death was attributed to a beating he got from his tankmate , after that i moved him and he stopped eating and became lethargic for almost 2 months although i tried all sorts of treatment until he died a few days ago
