I got these two anubias from petsmart. They came in those plastic tubes. They are similar in size overall but there is a big difference in leaf size. I expected the smaller leaves of the one but the others are very large and broad. From the base of the leaf to the tip on the smallest it is about 2 inches long but more like 4 inches long on the big one. Do nanas get leaves that big or may it be a mis-marked barteri? Can scrounge up a pic if needed.

The one that is 2 inches would be the nana, that seems the correct size. The one that is 4inches + is the barteri. IMO nana gives the impression the leaves would be really small, well certainly not as big as 2 inches, but that isn't the case.

Nana petite is a nice little plant, too, and just right for small tanks. Some of the other Anubis are too big for small tanks. Make sure you attach it to wood and do not plant it.

Thanks

Hobbs your links description says it isn't a nana.
They are planted, but I have had no problems planting them so long as the rhizome is exposed.

I wish I could find some petite locally, they are adorable little plants.

Anubias barteri var nana.jpg

Actually it says what is written above. It's a variation of the nana. Here's another.

What I meant was the description says it isn't nana at all. In the new link you gave me the same picture is used and named as barteri var. glabra. When I was referring to barteri as opposed to nana, I meant Anubias barteri var. barteri/barteri broad leaf, which are both larger plants than Anubias barteri var. nana.
