My LFS has some of these in, they look fantastic and i have heard that they dont grow to be massive,

are they still too big for a 125L tank?

dont want to get into a situation where a fish is too big for the tank, but would love to have one in mine!

cheers

those look really cool, from what I can find they grow to a maximum of 4.4"s. You should be fine with one if your tank isn't heavily stocked.

Soon as I work it out, will get them up.

Yeah I'm hoping so! He seems to have Already claimed that log as his own!!

Asides from algae wafers and flakes, would you reccomend any different foods for him?

I have read that they are omnivorous and I'm wondering if it would be worth Investing in something special for him!!

They're omnivores so I recommend some meaty foods, new life spectrum has some H20 stable wafers that they would satisfy the requirements.

Courgettes and peas (shelled) are usually popular. I frequently fed my plecos romaine lettuce (attached to a rock with an elastic band).

What a neat looking pleco. +1 to nls H20 stable wafers, regardless of the nls arguments I find that these discs stay together longer than other brands, so it doesn't crumble as quickly. My plec also loves green beans, I just buy the frozen ones and cut them in half length-wise. Cucumber and zucchini are also popular. Good luck with the little one. Keep us posted.
