I am so ticked off right now. I just ordered OSI food from them not knowing they are now carrying NLS.

My question.....i'm going to be feeding the NLS to my community tank that will have Gourami's, tetras and "cats"......I will probably feeding the wafers to the cats and then there are the gourami's and tetras. Do you think I should get them the small fish formula or the community fish formula?

Megan, I screwed up and got the community fish forumula. It sinks to the bottom immediately and my fish are not bottom eaters other than the corys and featherfin. In my gravel tanks, I don't use it at all as it settles into the gravel. I don't like it and my fish don't eat it.

I need something that will float for the angels so will probably order large pellets for them but then that won't work for the silver dollars. sighs

My fish have always eaten flakes. Enough sinks for the mid dwellers and enough stays on top for the angels. I think I will try to get a flake in NLS but want to find one not a garlic flake. Just need to look into it more.

The tetra's will require very small pellets. My cardinals eat the grow formula .35 mm.
They also like the NLS garlic flake

Hobb's Big Al's has carried NLS for awhile, I got mine from them a month ago

I wish I could find something like the Hikari betta bio gold pellets, in a larger container...and for other fish. They're so tiny and float all day long. lol (If it were there longer than a second haha).

So that grow formula is smaller than the community? I think the community is 1mm, and my smaller fish won't eat it.

Here's my community food. Laying on the bottom. It flies so fast past the angels they don't grab it and nothing else eats it laying here. As fast as the tetra's are, they can't get it either.

I think I will order the garlic flakes as it's the only flakes NL has. I know they will all eat flakes. Wish they would come out with a large flake formula without the garlic.

Algenco, I assume they've had NLS for a while. I just stopped looking for it at BigAl's several months ago because they didn't carry it.

My barbs and giant dannios eat the community, but no one else will. Maybe I didn't try for long enough though.
