Malaysian Rainbow Shrimp

I am thinking about getting some Malaysian Rainbow Shrimp to add something different to my tank and also help with the alage I have in my tank. Does anyone have these or know how good they are at eating algae?

they will eat green hair algae...but i am not sure about any other algae....google them and see what you get.

Do you know which of the eleven species curently being called "Rainbow Shrimp" it is?

Also what else in the tank inhabitatant wise? A lot of tank-mates are not shrimp safe.

Have you ever treated this tank for ich? If so what chemicals did you use? Copper is deadly to shrimp.
