Hey guys hope you are all doing fine!
i recently bought 4 angelfish and once i wanted to add them in my aquarium
i saw that one of them have small white spots on his tails.(in the pet store :3 angel fish were taken from an aquarium, and the one that i saw spots on it was in another aquarium with other angelfish, but they were all in the same water bag when i got them home)
Anyway,I introduced the 3 in my aquarium they are all doing very well!
As for the remaining one i put it in a 30L. with salt+sera costapur treatment.
it has been 5 days now.. and these spots didn't disappear! Also the fish doesn't look sick at all not quick breathing....
I am doubting that these spots are part of his patterns?
here are some pictures what do you think?

From the pictures it looks like part of the fin. Small white "kinks" or other similar deformities are quite common with fish that have been bred for long fins.
If it lookalike the white spots are incorporated into the fin "veins" then that probably is the case. Other wise, ich looks like white spots that are sitting on the fish, you are in the best position to judge.

Hello,

Yeah you're right, from my point of view i don't think it is any parasite.
I will add him to the group again

Have you done a very large water change or added water to the tank that was not the same temp as the tank? What size tank tank is this? What are your water parameters?

Hy jeff! :))
Well i don't think the problem comes from here since the first day i bought the fish where they were in the bag even.. i noticed that one of them presents spots so i decides to put him apart :22:
as for my aquarium it is a 300L.
water change every 2weeks 20%
parameteres:
ph 7.5
no2 : 0
no3 : 30
those are the ones i tested recently

I was trying to eliminate the possibilty of gas bubble disease, looks like that is not the problem then looking at your numbers and WC schedule.

It looks possibly like Ich to me, to be safe you could always medicate and see if they go away. I'm currently dealing with an Ich outbreak as I don't have a quarantine tank and that's what my angels fins look like. I didn't think anything of it until I saw ALL my cardinals had it and that made it easier to identify. A good natural method is to SLOWLY (1-2 degrees every other hour) raise the tank temp to 85F (this speeds up the Ich life cycle) and dose with aquarium salt.

Small scars in the tissue that is the fin fabric. On transparent fins this can show up on a fish that may have had some minor damage to it's fins. It may never go away, it should be harmless.
