earth worms???????????????

i have some earth worms i got off my father in law
i need to know can i feed them to my tropicals?

i feed my oscars earthworms and they aboslutely love them, even my convicts and auratus will eat them!!!!

Tried them once. Well, not ME personally! Angels wouldn't touch them but silver dollars sure did. The more I thought about giving them worms, the less I thought it a good idea. You don't know if they've been raised in manure or topsoil and don't know if they come from lawns having pesticides.

I just figured it was not worth the risk.

i have occasionally fed worms to my fish,angels,diam tets,dora cats ,bala shark and even my sailfin plec all went nuts.The angel wolfed down a 2" worm all by himself,that was a problem,I know.If you can account for were you get them they are a fine food,once in a while.

pulse them in a blender, dump into a fishnet and rinse. I used to do this with night crawlers to feed my angel breeders. The angels produced spawn of 1000+ every 8-10 days!

i get mine from an organic worm farm that my aunty has. no chemical or pesticides at all so i know that theyre safe for my fish

i tossed them in both tanks last night and it was very funny
i put them in whole and alive my fish went ape over them in both atnks
they loved them
it was funny to watch them try to eat them
i ckecked the tanks this morning and the earth worms are all gone
they ate them LOL
