i got new betta but need some advice

I have just put in a new siamese fighter (male) and 2 females into my 4ft tank,
this male was making a bubble nest when i bought him today,
my questions are,
does that mean he is ready to breed?
and do they build bubble nest all the time?
will he build another one?
and if he does will they breed?

I'm pretty sure the bubble nest means they're preparing to breed....(so they're ready). And from my experience Puffin builds bubble nests overnight for 3 days, every month.

Just to add on you really should not have a female in with the male as he will likely just chase and nip her or be peacefull for a while then turn on her...it is rarely successful.. but mabey it will work 3ft mabey just enough room for both but in most cases they should stay separate unless breeding

yeah...sometimes the females will gang up on the male and kill him. So iw ould get a tank for the male so he can be on his own. A 2.5-5g would be nice for the male.
