Black Body, Red tail Betta fish not eating.

I'm new here and i just got a problem:

i just got a betta fish 2 days ago and I've never even seen him touch the little flat red pieces of fish food i've been giving him everyday :( . I followed all the instructions on the package and there seem to be no special instructions :roll: .

the food is made up of a mixture of blood worms, other insect-like ingredients, and some flour...etc.

By the way, the betta fish is fine in health, but i do not think it is the exact situation with leighbug's "silver dollar fish not eating" problem.

Have you tried giving him other food types?

Try him on live blood worms or if you cant get any try fruit flies (make sure they havnt been sprayed with any chemicals and are still alive), I could never get mine to eat pelleted/commercial food.

The live food's movement at the surface should stimulate him into eating.

Perhaps the fish is stil a bit in shook over the transportation and will pick up eating in a few days? If I was placed in a tiny plastic bag and oved to a new home I be pretty upset and might lose my apitite to.
