dumb Q, but anyways.....
my betta keeps working on his bubble nest. it got destroyed when i cleaned his jar and he built a new one. he keeps flaring when i put my finger in the water near his 'bubble nest'. all he mostly does is guard it. should i let him keep his nest or 'pop the bubbles' lol

just let him keep it...it just means that he wants to breed....so i would just leave it and let him have some fun.
All males build them.

Why would you even consider popping the bubbles? He's following instinct to guard the nest.

Leave his bubbles. It's a good, healthy sign that he makes his nest. Mine never has.
