I have two adult mollies in my 10 gal quarantine/hospital/overflow nursery tank. One of them has had a droopy dorsal since I got them two weeks ago -hence the quarantine. Last night I noticed a white thickness in the clear part of her tail. My thought was ich so I grabbed a bottle of Aquasol I had around and put in a capful.
Now I'm not sure it's ich, because it doesn't stick out. However, the fish seems to really do well with the Aquasol. Her fins are up and maybe she's a little more energized. I'm thinking it might not be bad to use it as a preventative, but the darn bottle doesn't have any instructions on how often in should be used. If you are not familiar with Aquasol, it's a copper sulphate product. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?
