would it be hard to breed these guys? i think my last lamp. brichardi accidentally got eaten but i want some more of them, and the 15g long should work for breeding purposes
They'll quickly overrun that size tank once they get going. But from my understanding they are not that hard to breed. Just get yourself a colony of 5 to 6 and go from there.

a tank that small would be for breeding purposes, they would go to a much larger tank later.
i can get 6 for cheap so it should work out. thanks for the info
The people I know who do the best with this particular species do it in a 55g colony breeding setup. Lots of lace rock.... lots and lots of lace rock... a few java ferns, and you would have their setup.
