I don't have any but i am planning on getting some my next spawn so i would like to ask a few questions....
1) How long does it take for them to get colour???
2) How long would it be until i can sell them??

3) What ALL will they eat as fry?? I know that they will eat Hakirs (sp?) first bites, micro worms, BBS (at 1 week old the fry), infurasia (sp?). is there anything else??

4) how big of a container / tank will i need to grow them up in?? ( a growout tank)

5) what age will i have to seperate them??
I think that this is all.

Thanks,
Curtis

I think you are meant to seperate them very early on.
So, if you have 20 fry, you'll need 20 separate heated containers. Which means 20 mouths to feed a few times each day until they grow...

well actually....after i made this thread i went to [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] and they said everything i need. They all stay together until they start to fight...which i think they said was like 4 weeks or 6 something like that.

But thanks for the reply.

And betta people should really check that website out.

Ive read that bettas dont get their color till about 7 months. And you dont have to jar all of them females will usually be able to grow up together just separate any fish male or female showing aggression. But most females brought up together make good sorority bettas. A good grow out tank would be up to 40 gallons depending on how many fry you probobly wont need the forty since it would only be their 2nd spawn I dont see you getting over 100. 20 should be fine or a few tens..it really depends on the size and aggression of the spawn...you will learn after raising a few batches what is the perfect size.

Hopefully I will too mine didnt lay eggs but I think Ill try the 10gal method at 80-82 degrees instead of 76,
