View Full Version : New Subforums
Greetings, I was wondering if it would be possible to add Plants as a new directory with the following sub-forums:
Bulb Plant Information
Rosette Plant Information
Rhizome Plant Information
Floating Plant Information
Stem Plant Information
New to Planted Tanks
General Plant Information
With the number of stickies currently in use in the Plant category we will soon have an entire page of them.
Thanks for the great site and keep up the outstanding job!

It's a good idea but I don't think we have that much activity in the plant area as it is.
Some people don't even know what a rhizome or a rossette is so they would just post it in the general area.

Ok this is not exactly what you wanted but will hopefully be a stepp in the right direction. I have not created a new directory but I have created sub forums to the plant forum where special types of plants can be discussed. (You can see the links under the plant forum) The old plant forum is still the place to ask general plant and beginner questions.
Pretty cool subforums there. Maybe I'll eventually use them once I figure out what the heck I'm doing with my planted tanks!

Thanks William, and thanks for the great suggestion CAF:19:
To those who said that there is not enough activity with planted tanks to need these subforums, I could not disagree more, in the past months there has been a boom in both planted and saltwater tanks on here.
Thank you William!!!! I'll try to make sure there are enough threads in each category to make them worthwhile!
