My nitrAte reading is 12.5 in the planted 10 gallon tanks. Should I go ahead and change the water anyway or let it go another week? Ammonia and nitrIte are 0.

BUMP

Thanks for the input, Erik. That's kind of what I was thinking.

Anyone else with an opinion on this? All of the other tanks are done, and I just keep staring at these planted tanks.

Depending on your setup, many planted tanks can take of those levels in no time. I know on my larger tank can use up 10ppm nitrates in about 2 days or so. If its bothering you go ahead and do a WC I say. How often do you do WC?

Typically 40-50% on all of the tanks, but these 10s are my first planted tanks.

I shoot for 20 ppm NO3 in my heavily planted tanks and 15ppm in my lightly planted tanks. The plants use it up quickly so long as there is plenty of CO2.

No CO2...yet! I didn't end up changing the water, will continue to monitor the levels and change as needed. Thanks to all for the input!
