phantom and serpae tetras....

I have 3 serpae tetras and just got 3 black phantom tetras....it looks as though they are all trying to school together....is this normal for them? They do look like almost the same fish except the difference in color....are they closely related?

i think fish are color blind so since they look the same they probably will school together, its perfectly normal

yeah like i had neons and glowlight tetras school together. Now that looks cool.

yeah one reason would be because they should be in groups of 6 to school so 3 and 3 is 6 so that makes a good school.
