Hello there,
Does anyone has an explanation for the following?
Yesterday, I went to get 5 neon blue tetras for our 10g aquarium. The aquarium is already cycled so it wouldn't be a bad idea to add them all at once. I went bed happy of my new fish.
Today, when I woke up an was going to feed them, they didn't look like neon blue tetras, THE COLOR WAS GONE, well, not gone, but they didn't were as brilliant as last night. They were opaque. Worried I checked immediately the water parameters and they were 0,0,5.
Then, when I finished checking the water parameters they were very bright again. As nothing has happen.
I'm sure I'm not going crazy because my girlfriend saw the same.
So, do the neon blue tetras turn off their internal light at night and turn it on the morning at breakfast time??? Was it stress because of their new home??? Am I going crazy???
