ok i am thinking of getting a pair of fiddler crabs for a 10g aquarium. So well what all will i need???
i know i need a heater, substrate (will like play sand work fine???), sea salt (for brackish water) , hydrometer (sp?) [p.s. how much are they??], food dish, food (what all will they eat)
Do they need any special lighting???? if so what?
What do they eat??
thanks so much,
Curtis

i havent had them for a LONG time, but i remember some.
a hydrometer is on average $10, and you want a salinity of 1.018.
play sand should work
and i think they eat some kinda pellet food, cant remember.
for filtration, if you could get a submersible fluval, or a shallow water reptile filter thats excellent

ok now how much water can i put in with them???
Does it matter?
I will be using sand and stones for substrate....more sand then rock...it is just play sand.
thanks.
P.S.
Do they need any special lighting?
