And my fish tank went up to 90 degrees! Glad I didn't get a 200 watt.
It was hot in my apartment today but holy cow, I will get feet for that light if the tank keeps getting that hot. Light was on 8 hours.

T5 shouldn't put out that much heat. What kind of fixture is it in? It could be the ballast overheating.

Here's the light. Hope that long link didn't toss the margins off.
We had a flash frost a month ago and I panicked and yanked my air conditioner out. Been hotter than haties ever since. Could be because the apartment was too warm in combination with the lights.

Those fixtures are fan driven, so its not the light, its the temp in MI. Very odd, that.

Wow, In KS, it was kinda chilly today. I think we switched temps.
Yeah, that's a bit too hot - esp. if it keeps up like that for any length of time...
But we need a picture of the new look!

No worry hobbs I been having trouble keeping my 10 gallon nano cool as my PC is throwing off too much light. Dave I lost that link to the fans you gave me. If you see this post can you link me up again please?

wow, it's the same temp every single day in southern california. Glad i don't really have tyo worry about that, heh.
