so everyone here has what kind of tanks and fish they have in there sig and no one has custom pictures on them. are picture sigs just not allowed?

Nope. Pictures are not allowed in signatures. It would stretch the page length, and It would take forever to get them to load.

nope, we cant have pics, but some forums allow it

what if they just set a pixel limit so it wont be to big and wont stretch thee page or take forever to load?

on a old gta forum i was on they had something where you could load any size image, but if after there was a red border (meaning it was too large), and you left it, you would have your signature disabled. if you picture was all green around the edges, it was acceptable size

that sounds like a good idea that would work

Personally i like having it like this, You guys with the amazing tanks would show us all up

And its faster for us stone age dialup users :thumb:

Plus the page would be twice as wide with pictures of all cocoa's tanks :sbiggrin:

but even with dial-up, if there you were limited to a size it wouldnt take that long to load

...another site had a really cool tank gallery instead of a signature...you just clicked and it took you to a site where you could load the specs of each tank...

I quite liked that...

I'm not overly fond of the sig. pics either...they're fine when small enough, but some people insist on having theirs huge...

but think of how much room Cocoa's sig would take up if there were pics for all his tanks! :hmm3grin2orange: His posts would be a mile long.

lol true but the pics wouldnt necessary have to be of your tank, simply whatever you like

i think pics would work, but say you could only have like 4 and they can only be 100 by 100 or you can't load them. I have an online image resizer i use all the time that i could give to everyone.
