should i breed a 4 yr old betta?

my 4 yr old betta Gill is making a bubble nest without a female to breed with. does that mean hes lonely or is it just natural?

it means he's happy and healthy, two of my males are buildig them too. It's a good sign that your doing the right thing.

NO...he is too old to breed...they need to be about 1-1.5 years old when they breed...anything over that and they should NOT be breed. He is too old. If you want to breed your bettas you need to find a young male and young female around 1 years-1.5 years old.
