is the driftwood sold for reptiles okay to use in an aquarium?

What type of wood is it?
I thought most of the stuff they make for reptiles is fake stuff....
most of the wood sold for reptiles is Grapevine. It will begin to rot if immersed. Double check what sort of wood it is before purchasing it.

yeah, i saw some grapvine stuff, but i ended up buying aquarium driftwood. Good choice, but the driftwood i have doesn't leak tannins like i wanted.
What kind of wood did you end up with?

i think it was mopani, but i'm not sure. it cost 5 bucks, at 5 bucks per pound. I'll post a pic later today.
Mopani I think is my favorite.
