i want to turn my betta tank into a planted tank.
i have one 75 watt heater, one corner filter one powerhead ratedfor a 5 gallon tank, light is a for a standard one foot 6 watt.
The current fish stock is one male betta and 5 neons.
i will be changing substrate in december from the normal gravel to black substrate.
any advice on the plants that i can keep in the tank.
the cuutings are from my three foot and if possible can you give me ssome info on the plant

In addition to adding another plant or two, may I recommend that you either put another filter on the tank or upgrade to one that is good for at least 10gal? Generally, filtration for double the size of a tank is what is needed. I also feel that 5gal is not enough space for a fish that requires a school - there's not much swimming space there.
