So I'm thumbing through my new TGH mag (November issue) and see ole Botia modesta called Yasuhikotakia modesta. Hmm thinks I, why the Genus change? Is it an Asian thing?
NO! Some eager beaver son of a buffalo moved modesta and six other Botia species to that new Genus, obviously to royally tick me off.
GOD do I hate Genus name changes to just to support that clade garbage.
Phooey.
Grrrr.

Scientific names are confusing enough, without them changing them.
