Pics of the new bettas!

Well here they are!!

I named the guy Barbosa, but i need names for the girlies (cmon betta naming team do your thing) haha

Also notice in the first pic his red ventrils. I thought that was really cool lol

One more lol. This girl is pretty big, and the other is very small, but they're getting along good so far, no nipping. Barbosa is HUGE lol. He's bigger then firethorn and aires.

btw: sorry for the bad pics, barbosa wouldn't sit still and by the time i was done trying to get a pic i didn't feel like doing it again for the females haha.


Also the small girl is getting her colors back, i think she's gonna be a red with some green mixed in.

Also i love how the big one had her fins outlined in black. lol

Petsmart. They're still in the small cups iwth blue water, but they're all pretty healthy, sadly they only have the common blues and reds, and only VT's and CT's. I rreally want to get my hands on a white CT sometime, or a green HM or SD, but this place takes the best care of there bettas so i but them there, altohugh eventually i'll scout out some of the other petstores for the bettas, never really looked.

well a 5 gallon tank like the one you have them in is better than a tiny cup. nice fish though.

yea, a 5g is plenty of room. they're all over it exploring and such. And all the new oens ate that night so they musta been good.

Well the LFS by me (which is just a little family run store) has lots of nice white, black and just some plain coloured fish. I am thinking of getting the white one because i really like it.

Thanks for the comments guys! There are no family run stores by me sadly, although i saw some off aquabid, but the closed sunday.

Anyone have any name idea yet?

And yea squirt i have 5. I went form 1 to 5 in a short time lol, i kinda caught the betta bug.

Yeah i want some more bettas but i don't have any aquariums to put them in sadley :(...or else i would get some more...but my friend said she would give me some if i wanted some so i think that i might snag a couple 5g from her. lol. She has like 10 million tanks. lol.

Nice bettas Tropfish! I really love bettas. They are really my favorite fish. I wish I could get another betta too but I have a 3 tank limit and I'm full up right now.

yea i'm at my limit also. Actual i set yup the 5g before my parents had gotten home lol. My dad didn't care but my mom was a little mad haha

hahahahaha....i am doing a Greek Play right now in Drama called 'The Golden Apple' and it has Aphrodite in it. lol. In the play i am poseidon (SP?).

btw...very nice names....they suit your betta well.
