and the funny thing is, the fish aren't even pretty, it looks blothcy. I think other htne little kids, most people prefer naturally colored fish. I ahte how people have a drive to change nature, why can't everyone be content with what they have, we all are. I think all fisdh are at their best color and healthwise in a clean well maintained aquarium, not with artificial colors.

At least the reporter is questioning the intelligence of the pet store owner by saying "how does he know the fish don't feel any pain"....

We all know that's BS anyway, fish feel pain it's been proven. Heck, you don't even need a scientific experiment to prove it, just watch one fish picking at another. The one being picked on swims away. Why would it swim away if it felt no pain??? Duh....

You know what's really bad? If the fish somehow survives the whole dyeing process and then the dye wears off, the color underneath the dyed area is forever dulled so what would have been a beautiful fish is gaudy for a couple of weeks then turns into a dull sickly little fish.....so sad.....

It really should be outlawed in this country!
