So im thinking of setting the 100 up with small cichlids
what else would go with bolivians and G.Bs?
Keyholes?
Checkerboards?

I keep Keyholes, Apistos, Gouramis, Tetras, Ottos, Bristlenose, Amano Shrimp, Praecox Rainbows, Cherry Barbs, Kabotia Botias & Corys all with my Rams in a 300g heavily planted tank.
I absolutely love my checkerboards... they would do well with anything that wouldn't pick on them.

A 100 gallon african cichlid tank would be awesome.. think of the colors would be neat if you decorated the tank to their natural environment.

Also, get a pictus cat. I don't know why, just do it.
And maybe a festivum.

you'd need more than 1 pictus cat. they need to have at least 4 of them together.

No, they only school when young. When they are adults, they become territorial with each other.

Oh, how big do they get before they dont need to be kept in schools?? Because everytime i go to the LFS they are constantly locking horns so to speak lol. And they arent that big, maybe 3 inches?

I would get a few larger cichlids also like Severums that aren't aggressive. They would go good with it and are larger.

Hmm well ive got a fair bit of time to decide ive still go to peice togeather some of the equipment for the tank, and move some stuff around in the room so it will fit
ill probably change my mind a few times of what to put in it between now and the i originally wanted it to be an amazon style tank but now i cant decide

aquakid, they don't need to be kept in schools at all. That's what i've read. I would research though.
aquakid, maybe you should go with lotsof rainbowfish.
