Any suggestions on feeding so that the quicker fish don't eat more than they should? I have 3 danios, 2 big tetras, and 2 corys. The danios are smart enough to know to come to the top of the tank as soon as I lift the lid so they get first crack at the food. The tetras are getting smarter - sometimes they come up, sometimes they wait for me to take a few steps back or for the flakes to start falling before they attack. Then they are ferocious eaters, often forcing the danios to scatter. I just got the corys and can only hope they are getting enough to eat. They've certainly done a job on my thread algae.
My worry is that one of my danios is a little piggie - he eats so much that his belly bulges ridiculously, but I don't know how to scale the feeding back and still have everyone get fed. Everything is gone in less than two minutes. I feed twice a day with flake or crisps and a mix of bloodworms, brine shrimp and daphnia every couple of weeks. Any ideas?
