So whilst rumaging through the garage today i found a little 5g hex tank, apprantly it used to have a gold fish in it when i was young

I gave it abit of a clean and filled it up and its holding water perfectly, glass is all good with a few little scratches

so im thinking of setting it up somewhere with a betta in it

what do you guys think would it be big enough?

I dont know ive never kept a betta or perhaps you could suggest something else to go in there?

Perfect. They come in little cups and would be over joyed to have 5 whole gallons.

Good find! Wish I could find something useful in my garage. All I find is old ladies diapers. :)

A 5g would be great for a betta or shrimp. I've never really thought about having an all shrimp tank but after seeing the POTM pics from this month I might consider it.

its good for a betta. you can get a betta, and 3-5 shrimp, plus a few hardy plants (java fern for example)
